On 7th August 2024, at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Osaka, our company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on a comprehensive partnership with Hasanuddin University, Republic of Indonesia (Makassar City), witnessed by Consul General John Tjahjanto Boestami. The MOU was signed by our President, Mr. H. Nakajima, and the President of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa.
This partnership aims to facilitate human resource exchanges, including internships for current students and employment opportunities for graduates in Japan, and to conduct joint research related to decarbonization in the power sector and the circular economy in South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
Since 2020, through a joint venture established with Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. and PT Medco Power Indonesia, our company has been operating gas-fired power generation businesses and providing operation and maintenance services in Indonesia. We will continue to strengthen our relationship with Indonesia, positioning it as a strategic partner country.

Hasanuddin University:
Located in Makassar, the capital city of South Sulawesi Province in the Republic of Indonesia, Hasanuddin University is a national university with 16 faculties, including the faculty of engineering and the faculty of medicine. The university has produced numerous distinguished individuals, such as Jusuf Kalla, who served as the Vice President of Indonesia. Hasanuddin University actively participates in industry-academia collaboration projects, including joint ventures with JICA. It is regarded as the premier institution of higher learning in Eastern Indonesia.
