Large-scale Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SPring-8)

The SPring-8 large-scale synchrotron radiation facility operated by RIKEN in Harima Science Garden City, located in the southwest area of Hyogo Prefecture, is capable of generating synchrotron radiation with the highest level of performance in the world. This synchrotron radiation is used for a wide range of research in fields such as nanotechnology and industrial application, primarily by universities, public research organizations, and corporations. Our company provides support to the facility in forms which include operation monitoring, instrument installation and adjustment, and equipment maintenance.

X-ray CT Equipment (CO2 Behavior Visualization Equipment)

The Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth, located in Kansai Science City (Keihanna Science City) which crosses the borders of Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara, coordinates with domestic and overseas industries, government institutions, and academic organizations, using CO2 behavior visualization equipment to perform research and development on the collection of CO2 in deep underground areas as a measure against global warming. Our company was entrusted by the Geological Carbon Dioxide Storage Technology Research Association to provide support which includes the development of imaging techniques using this equipment, as well as image processing and quantitative value calculation tasks.

Flue Gas Decarbonization Equipment

At Kansai Electric Power’s Nanko Power Station, research is being performed on CO2 recovery technology using flue gas decarbonization equipment. Our company was entrusted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering to provide support for research using this equipment, including operation, management, inspection, component analysis, and test report preparation.
