Fuel Equipment Operation
Power stations primarily use coal, natural gas, crude oil, and heavy oil as fuel. Our company is responsible for transporting such fuels to their individual storage facilities.
Gas Turbine Power Station Operation and Administration Management
The electric power consumed by Kansai International Airport is provided by electricity transmitted from outside of the airport island as well as electricity generated at the Kansai International Airport Energy Center (a gas turbine power station) located on the airport premises. We are responsible for the overall operation and administration management of the Energy Center, supporting the operation of the entire airport.
Flue Gas Desulfurization Equipment Operation
We are engaged in the operation of desulfurization equipment which removes sulfur oxide contained in exhaust gases, contributing to environmental protection by preventing air pollution.
LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Tanker Truck Shipment
Kansai Electric Power supplies LNG to corporations throughout the Kansai area. As a part of this business, we are responsible for arranging tanker trucks and transferring LNG from storage facilities to those vehicles.
Water Treatment Equipment Operation
We are involved in the operation and maintenance management of wastewater treatment equipment for purifying water used at thermal fuel power stations. In this way, we are contributing to environmental protection by preventing ocean water pollution.
Proper Treatment of Industrial Waste and Support for Recycling
Recycling and proper disposal of industrial waste is a major issue faced by corporations for the formation of a recycling society. Based on legal ordinances, we support the proper treatment of industrial waste generated by thermal fuel power stations, and promote measures for their recycling.
